time is strange increasingly. i always think i see quarters but they're always nickels. cuz everyone picks up the quarters. what about coffee? and my cat name lonely? he claws up his way to me. hes hungry. he needs to eat. and god knows we need to drink heavily

it didnt hurt at the time but i cried because my face finally resembled my life. days numbered in shards of teeth on the street and worst of all the sympathy for a hideous wreck; a long overdue mess of consequence. its fascinating how things change and become something unfamiliar or rearranged. taken for granted all this time. like your own skin. like your own pride

its unreal. anymore i see you i tense up. what happened to four letter words? i cannont feel any more attatched to you even though you want me to. even though i've wanted to myself. but we've both got positions to consider. we've grown comfortable right where we are not moving far. years span apart and these lonely nights only wake you in my heart. oh how you haunt these halls even though you've never had a chance to touch these walls. but we've both got our own fantastic futures. we've grown comfortable right we are not moving far. the futures ripe with consequence.

we should go to a pastoral town with a view of some alps and nothing but fresh air. we can take a train somewhere for fun, and in the cabin i'll remember the restaurant years, racing down the stairs with stephen, my fucking crooked glasses, sniffing nose up our drugs, and coming home to the five years of nothing in which i lived that is until i met you again and you said lenny i still want this so bad. (we're still feeling sorry for ourselves without saying sorry. i cant help it sometimes.) back in the train you've nodded off.we'll take a flight back to cape cod where i'll become a business man and distant deserving every bit of the ring you'll press in my hand. oh nothin's changin'

i don't need a reason,but that winter lasted far too long. i hope my tired eyes can reap what they've sown, and i hope you know i never meant to creep but I'm hungry and not for anything you can eat. well that is nothing i can heat up in a kitchen. say something cuz i'm damn sure i'd say anything to get you home. and chris told me that ghost flew back to alaska where she belonged, and last time he saw her she was clinging to her brother's junior varsity jacket. he played water polo but not the other kind because i guess its bad for the horses. but we've got glue to hold it together as loosely as ever
